Episode 15: We've All Been There

| Science and progress do not speak as loud as my heart. | - Tuesday, 25 September, 2007

You can tell this is a comic and not real life because my sister would never either 1. let me touch her computer (I'd get Linux on it or something), or 2. talk to me about guys, despite the wealth of advice I could offer about how to have a healthy relationship by simply doing the opposite of what I do. Thus, the entire premise of the above illustration is preposterous! What jocularity!

By the way, my hair really does that when I get flustered. Which is probably why my friends enjoy freaking me out so much. And, for those who are curious, the "what" is a zip disk; the "where" is a floppy drive (which I once actually had to remedy). Yeah, you'd freak out, too.

Okay, this was totally going to be done ten hours ago, but my computer restarts a hell of a lot more than it should, damnit. And I've also more bad news.. the little five-strip gap in my archives is going to stay that way for a few days, as I've somehow lost the original files. Since they were completely digital, it's not just a manner of re-scanning. This, however, has made me even more devoted to my Micron pens. And definitely more dedicated to getting some more blue/red drawing pencils.. but anyway, I'm going to work on re-doing those updates in between current updates so I don't miss any. Mostly because Dom has indicated to me that he's working on a stock of Linux Guy Dom strips. And none of us want that. (Or maybe you do. Hell, I don't know.)

I've been poking the site CSS and pages. The characters page is up to date, and will now probably be neglected for several months. I've also fixed the news posts so you can tell who was posting, as well as making them look prettier. Or, at least, I'm trying to. And hopefully soon we'll be back at bookofroot.com...
Edit, as of later: And now we are. I think we are, at least. It's pretty slow on my computer.. Godaddy suddenly got incredibly slow and bulky and difficult to navigate, especially via dial-up. Oh well. Hopefully I won't have to do this again for a while.

Steal stuff, and she shall hunt you down with a vengeance and fury that burn with the heat of a thousand white-hot suns at the time of their birth.

This site best viewed on 1024x768 resolution or greater. We use Firefox. You should, too. Or, you know, white-hot suns. And more pop-ups and buggy CSS.. but those are purely secondary reasons, of course.
